Las Vegas is Still Family Friendly
28 May 2010
The main reason you can bring your children to Las Vegas is the ‘Adventuredome Theme Park’, which has mountains of thrills under the dome, which is 5 acres of indoor fun, including the Canyon Blaster, the Sling Shot, Chaos, the Inverter, Rim Runner and the ever popular Laser Blast. Located at 2880 Las Vegas Blvd. South, at the Circus Circus Las Vegas. This Las Vegas hotel offers the best of both worlds, for parents who want to participate in the casino’s and their children, who want to enjoy amusement park rides.
The Adventuredome is open 7 days a weeks from 10am to midnight and you can purchase all day ride passes for $24.95 for people 48″ and taller, or $14.95 for people under 48″. Or for a Premium ticket – $7.00 – you can purchase an individual ride like the new special FX Theatre featuring SpongeBob SquarePants, which is a 4D special effects film, or the Disk’O spinning ride, the Canyon Blaster roller coaster, the Rim Runner water chute, the Sling Shot tower ride, Chaos – a spinning and tilting ride, the Inverter – a 360 degree counter rotation ride, the SimEx Extreme Ride Theatre, which is a log ride and escape from Dino Island, or the very popular Laser Blast – a laser tag adventure.
For only $4 each, you can ride the Large Rides (48″ or taller requirement), like the Canyon Cars (bumper cars) and the Sand Pirate (a swinging ship). For people under 48″, $4 will get them on the Frog Hopper, the Miner Mike (a junior roller coaster ride) and the Thunderbirds (a plane ride). Plus, $4 will cover the Family (42″ minimum height unless accompanied by an adult) on rides like the B.C. Bus, the Circus Carousel, the Drifters Ferris wheel and the Road Runner – a mini Himalaya ride.
The Adventure Dome is the best family attraction, the best arcades, the best place to go if you’re under 21 and was voted the best fun in all of Las Vegas in 2010.
