Marrakech is a city that embodies the mystery of Morrocco so it’s no wonder why thousands of tourists and vacationers from all over the globe visit this former caravan city a year from all corners of the globe. There are hidden marketplaces, streets lined with performers and the odd snake charmer along side street vendors vying for the attention of those walking past.

Museums like the Musee Tiskiwin are not clearly marked and though right around the corner from the popular Musee Dar Si Said many get lost looking for it. Musee Tiskiwin is a museum inside a building featuring a double riad architecture, where the rooms open onto a central garden. This museum is owned by a Dutch collector and features an assortment of quirky artifacts from many corners of the Middle East. While the Musee Dar Si Said is the former mansion of the 19th-century royal chamberlain Sidi Said but now houses an impressive collection of daggers, carvings, and local history. Keep an eye out on your visit there are many, many museums to see.
